We interviewed a travel agent to get a picture of how travel-planning is carried out without online support. The key results from the interview were: 1) People who approach travel agents usually want to enjoy a trip without having to bother about planning out the details. 2) However, most people approaching travel agents were families or older people and not young groups of friends who are our target users. It can be inferred that our target group desires flexibility and has a higher tolerance for breakdowns. Pros 1) Groups can be setup in short time 2) Access to more than a hundred locations worldwide Cons 1) No real time support, once the trips start, the users are on their own |
