Synthesis
Overview
Once we had completed the research, we worked on organizing it in ways that created meaning and direction for us. We made models that compared curators with small scale art collectors and pulled out what from each was important for making the online experience fun and meaningful to our users. We wanted to strike a balance between enabling users to expand their art experiences in way real life does not allow while considering what about reality makes art collecting and presenting fun and important.
Our research also helped us created personas that represented two different likely user groups. These two groups would be using the site in different ways and would find different elements of it useful to each other them.
