04 Idea Critique and Speed Dating

Following idea generation, there was a group critiqua session, yielding valuable feedback and suggestions on our ideas. We further went on to conduct speed dating with some of our ideas. To facilitate speed dating, the Airport Environment was simulated in our lab and paper props were used to simulate the kiosk, the Big Screen Display and signage for ground transportation.

Some of the important results from these sessions were:

1) Ideas of bag tracking and visual tag for identification got a positive response
2) The Big Screen Display was liked by all, but privacy concern was expressed at identifying bags with their owners.
3) Mobile message was found good but not that important
4) Ground Transportation ideas received mixed responses and appeared disconnected with the baggage theme that connected the rest of the ideas.
5) Other baggage identification ideas like using mobile buzz and colored light synchronously were found excessive and unnecessary
6) The Bag Race idea was also favored by participants.
