Form Factor

We went through a number of iterations on the form factor. Our original sketches are below:

We originally focused on the birdbath design because we felt that it gave the user the feeling of playing in a puddle and would fit nicely with the space because it didn't look overly technical. However after working with this form factor for a while, we realized that it would be very difficult to attract users with a flat screen facing directly upwards. We instead switched to one of the more vertical designs that had a fluid shape to it, like a fountain jet. We added a small step so that children could access the screen as well as adults.
