EatSmart phone

Project 2

The EatSmart system is a mobile phone application that facilitates a healthier lifestyle through healthier eating. EatSmart helps people manage dietary restrictions pertaining to certain health conditions. It also attempts to help people learn about their health condition and why certain foods may or may not be good for them to eat.

Various scenarios were developed based on the persona of an eldery mallwalker recently diagnosed with diatbetes. Multiple screen sketches and information architecture maps helped inform the final design solution. The result is a system that allows people with health conditions to quickly search for and find foods to eat on while out of the home and provides information on why certain foods may be good or bad to eat.
