Latest (FYI -- this is out of date so check the Intel Research site for the latest)...

My PhD thesis is completed, and I'm now a Research Scientist at Intel's new Berkeley Lab.

Info:

I received my PhD in the Computer Science Division at the University of California at Berkeley.  My research interests revolve around robotics and internet based telepresence, particularly the physical, aural, visual, and gestural interactions between humans and machines.  I am a founding member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Online Robots.  I also traced my academic lineage.
