Schenley Plaza

We came together with the goal of exploring Schenley Plaza and its surrounding areas for opportunities to activate parts of the environment. It was found suitable for this project because:

1. Gathering Place
   People meet their friends in various locations throughout the plaza
2. Diverse Audiences
   There is the potential to meet the needs of students, families with children, and other people that make us of the park space
3. Not Currently Activated
   No part of Schenley Plaza or its surrounding areas is currently activated with any sensors or displays

After analyzing the plaza, we narrowed our locations of interest to the following:

• Schenley Plaza tent
• Merry-go-round
• Hillman Library
• Diplodocus Carnegii sculpture
• Eating area
• Historical landmarks
