We were able to interview several cheese customers:
- 1 novice user
- 1 "advanced user"
- 2 expert users
We gained a number of key insights from our interviews:
- A novice may be intimidated to ask the cheesemonger for advice.
- The cheesemonger may not warn the customer that a cheese cannot be prepared in a certain way.
- When throwing a wine and cheese party, it may be useful to put out names of cheeses for the guests with allergies.
- Novice cheesemongers may want to go with a friend who knows more about cheese to the cheese counter the first time.
