02 Personas
After conducting our research, our group created personas to help us better flesh out our ideas for design.
Personas 1
Christine
Christine is a single mother working as an advertising executive. She finds it challenging to balance time between spending her son Greg, her job, and the various other errands she must attend to. At the Strip District, she loves to explore new shops but finds them costly and usually cannot stay too long without Greg becoming antsy.
Experience Goals
- Wants to use her day off (Saturday) to shop for the upcoming PTA meeting she is hosting.
- Wants to be able to spend time with her son
Life Goals

Greg
Greg is Christine's 5 year old son. He is a proud collector of stickers and stamps. He would much rather spend time playing Nintendo Wii than doing homework or going on errands with his mom.
Experience Goals
- Wants to leave the Strip as soon as possible!
Life Goals
- Become a super hero.
Personas 2
Drew
Drew is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he studied biology. He is back in town for an alumni meet. Drew is a nostalgic person - he loves to visit the places he went to during his college years.
Experience Goals
- Refresh his memories.
- Meet up with friends.
Life Goals
- Have a successful post-graduate career.
- Keep in touch with friends.
Raul
Raul is a Ph.D. student at the University of Pittsburgh and shared his undergrad experience with Drew. Raul is a big sports fan and loves rooting for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. He uses whatever spare time he has from school to go to sporting events throughout the year.
Experience Goals
- Find a store that can enhance his sporting experiences.
- Take some time away to relax from the pressures of graduate school.
Life Goals
- Finish his Ph.D. and work as an academic.
- Make enough money to buy season tickets for his favorite teams.
