04 The Final Design

Final design decisions:

1) To have a trip builder that requires the users to enter a) the number of people in the trip, b) the budget and c) the timeframe d) the city/place to visit. It then allows user to create a group for the trip and presents a visual tool to plan the details of the trip. Users could drag and drop "must see" sights from a map and choose from alternative routes that they wish to take to visit those sights. The tool fits their choices into a time-frame and gives feedback about time, cost and feasibility.

2) To capture the essence of word of mouth, the places on the map are annotated with photographs and comments from friends and family members of the users who had been to that place.

3) Having a real time modifiable tool takes into account the constraints and criteria of the users and also allows them flexibility.

4) Once the trip is over, the group can set up an album using the photos of the trip. Albums could be personal, visible to the group or publicly visible as desired by the users.
